Australian students note

This application process is for International students. If you are an Australian resident, please use the Australian Student Application process.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

STEP 1

Download an Expression of Interest Form (See www.crossconnect.glo.org.au/policies) and contact us for advice about whether this is the right course for you. 

STEP 2

International; students will need a to obtain an IELTS score of 5.5 to enter the course. this can take up to 2 months depending on where you are and how good your English is. Visit www.ielts.org to find out more. GLO College of Ministries offers a preliminary English course, a beginner English course, and an intermediate English course with CrossTalk. Whilst CrossTalk English courses are non-accredited, they are designed, delivered and assessed in a similar way to many accredited English Courses in Australia, and may help you prepare to study in English in Australia and take the IELTS test. STEP 3

FILL OUT AN ACCS APPLICATION FORM

Fill out an online application form with our RTO ACCS www.ccs.edu.au/vocational-application. Ensure you have all the details correct and please contact us if you have any questions. 

READ THE STUDENT HANDBOOK

The Student Handbook is available for download at crossconnect.glo.org.au/policies, or by contacting GLO College of Ministries directly. It is the student’s responsibility to have read the document before entering the course.

STEP 4

Upon receipt of your signed Letter of Offer, you will be issued with a Confirmation of Enrolment (Coe). You will be required to submit the CoE with your visa application to the Australian Government’s Department of Home Affairs for processing for your Student Visa before the start of the course and in must be valid for the duration of the course.

STEP 5

Once all the conditions of your offer have been met, you will need to pay a course deposit. This can be paid directly to the College’s bank account by direct deposit. This a non-refundable cost and must be paid on receipt of acceptance letter.

STEP 6

All students are required to pay $1000 before commencement of the course. For the remainder of the course fees, a predetermined payment plan will be arranged with GLO College of Ministries.

STEP 7

At the start of the course each student will need to have brought with them a current passport that has at least one year before it expires. This will be necessary for staying in Australia for the duration of the course and if the Short-Term Mission Trip is overseas. 

STEP 8

TURN UP! Please contact us with your time of arrival and the mode of transport you will be using to get here (that is by car, train, or plane) and then ensure that you arrive at GLO College of Ministries, 15 Hamilton Street, Grantham Farm NSW in time for the Orientation Program.

Partnership statement

Currently the 10742NAT Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology course is delivered by GLO College of Ministries, which operates as Third Party Provider (TPP) for the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Australian College of Christian Studies (ACCS RTO#910402 CRICOS 03375M).

This partnership has been developed and agreed upon by both parties in the Memorandum of Agreement and adheres to the Nationally Recognised Training standards.
