This application process is for International students. If you are an Australian resident, please use the Australian Student Application process.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

STEP 1: Enquire with CrossConnect

If you are interested in becoming a CrossConnect student start by filling out an Expression of Interest Form (See www.crossconnect.glo.org.au/policies) and send it to us to get advice about whether this is the right course for you.

International applications close at the end of November to allow for visa processing.

STEP 2: Interview

We will contact you to make a date and time for an interview online, through Zoom. During this interview we will be discussing some of the neccessary requirements to help us provide a stable and enjoyable course. We’ll be chatting about things such as;

  • Your english ability. We require you to demonstrate an english proficiency of year 12 level or equivalent.
  • Your course equipment. You will need to have laptop, webcam and microphone. Your internet access will also need to be strong and consistent at 4 mbps.
  • Your church connection. Course participants need to be attending and active in a faith or church community. This is important as you will need opportunities for various ministry experiences, and you will neet to have support for your english.

STEP 3: Obtain an IELTS score of 5.5

All International Students who travel to undertake the course face-to-face require a Student Visa will also be required to undertake a General IELTS assessment and obtain a score of 5.5 or above to make an application for the CrossConnect course.

GLO Ministries Australia offers a preliminary English course, a beginner English course and an intermediate English course with CrossTalk in Riverstone. Whilst CrossTalk English courses are non-accredited, they are designed, delivered, and assessed in a similar way too many accredited English Courses in Australia, and may help you prepare to study in English in Australia and for preparation for the IELTS assessment.

STEP 4: Apply with ACCS Online

FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FORM

Once we at CrossConnect have a approved your Experesion of Interest you will need to fill out an online application form at www.ccs.edu.au/vocational-application for the 10742NAT Cert IV in Christian Ministry and Theology with ACCS. 

Ensure you have all the details correct and please contact us if you have any questions.

The Student Handbook is available for download at crossconnect.glo.org.au/policies. It is the students responsibility to have read the document before entering the course.

STEP 5: COURSE ACCEPTANCE

CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT (CoE)

Upon receipt of your signed Letter of Offer from ACCS, you will be issued with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). You are required to submit the CoE with your Student Visa application to the Australian Government’s Department of Home Affairs for processing.

Note: All International Students must hold a Student Visa before the start of the course, and it must be valid for the duration of the course which finishes with the Student Graduation.

STEP 6: PAY COURSE FEES

All students are required to pay $1000 before commencement of the course. For the remainder of the course fees, a predetermined payment plan will be arranged with GLO Ministries Australia.

STEP 7: DOCUMENTATION CHECK

PASSPORT

At the start of the course International Students will need to have brought with them a current passport that has at least one year before it expires. 

STEP 8: TURN UP!

Please contact us with your time of arrival and the mode of transport you will be using to get here (that is by car, train, or plane) and then ensure that you arrive at GLO Ministries Australia, 15 Hamilton Street, Riverstone NSW in time for our Orientation Week Program.

Partnership statement

Currently the 10742NAT Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology course is delivered by GLO College of Ministries, which operates as Third Party Provider (TPP) for the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Australian College of Christian Studies (ACCS RTO#910402 CRICOS 03375M).

This partnership has been developed and agreed upon by both parties in the Memorandum of Agreement and adheres to the Nationally Recognised Training standards.
